Expressing gratitude to the WHO Director-General for his visit to Azerbaijan and participation in the Global Baku Forum, Musayev stressed the successful cooperation of the authoritative health organization with Azerbaijan in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as the importance of the organization's recommendations.
Ghebreyesus praised the successful fight against COVID-19 and the activities of Azerbaijan in this field at the national, regional, and international levels.
He also noted the close cooperation between the Nizami Ganjavi International Center and the WHO and the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding.
At the end, the sides exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
